We never knew Ingrid Doerr, the founder and maker of Roach Clothing, but she definitely had a lasting impact on how we came up in mountain biking.
We would not have mountain biking as we know it or any of the amazing gear choices we have now without the North Shore scene and people like Ingrid who pioneered the way for so many. So you can consider this throwback a bit of a THANK YOU, to Ingrid , Roach, and all those who helped shape this sport into the beautiful thing it is today!
If this is your first time hearing about ROACH, give it a google then we recommend you go and watch the NSX video series from the start and that should give you a true look at where a world renowned style of riding originated.
The stem pad is a classic Mtb accessory that may not be used much anymore these days, but you would be hard pressed finding anyone on the shore without one 15 years ago!
This is a replica pad made to the same specs as the original Roach stem pads. Sewn right in East Vancouver just blocks away from where the original Roach gear was produced!
Proceeds from all ROACH gear will be donated directly to the NSMBA - our local trail organization that keeps the North Shore mountain bike scene running!
